About Local 002

Greetings from the Chair of Local 002 August 2009 (pdf)

Dennis Coulthard, Local 002 Chair 2008

Local 002 Subsidiary Agreement
In your subsidiary agreement you will find specifics related to the Program Services classification. Pay scales and grids are included in the subsidiary agreements. One key difference between the local agreement and the master agreement is that this group calculates overtime at a lower rate to other general service groups (Article 5.03). However, Local 002 overtime is balanced on a daily basis rather than weekly or monthly. The benefit of daily balancing is that employees can accumulate the overtime rather than being encouraged to take off the same hours later in the week or month.
